Antosis SA, Okyalos Ltd and Mediamax Ltd have agreed to invest in the launch of NAFTILOS, a new type of multiaccess location Geoportal.
By combining the design abd development capabilities of Mediamax, the information architecture and content management methodology of Antosis and the GIS platform and Location technologies of Okyalos the 3 companies will launch a pilot of NAFTILOS by the end of Spring 2003.
Major tourist organizations will be invitted to participate and their content will be adapted and integrated in this novel platform that will allow seamless access to tourism information, according to nthe location of the person enquiring and hence dramatically increasing the utility of the service. |

Antosis eBusiness and Mediamax win contract to develop innovative PRODAL (PRODuct portAL) for ASCO SA in Kavala.
ASCO SA is a leading Manufacturer, Distributor and Exporter of Industrial Metal Grills.
Project focus is to develop Product Information Vortal (PRODAL) for the Enginneers that specify ASCO's products and Solutions Public Works Projects. A second information dbase is assisting the enginners of Subcontractors and finally a third dbase is for the suppliers and commercial represeanttives of ASCO's distribution Network.
The project proved that ASCOs competitive advantage lies more in efficient Information distribution rather than efficient Metal-Grill Production. |
